The only debatable here is the central position of the sun and reflections from the lens.

Yeah I've always been a fan of lens flare but I know its a no-no, I accept all responsibility for letting the JJ Abrams in me out :P
Also yeah the sun's position isn't optimal. I'm looking forward to re-shooting this some day and seeing how/if I've impr
