Wonderful image! Sky is beautiful! I was told that it's nicer when the subject is not centered. Not a reason for me to give a lower vote.It's your vision

Yeah, it was a bit of a tough call with composition, but I think this works OK, the left side of the bench aligns with the left third and the rights side aligns with the right-third so in a way it still complies with the rule of thirds... I think...? :)

When working with a diagonal.. I agree with your assessment of how to handle the rule of thirds until someone can convince me otherwise. Nice shot.

Perfect process, landscape truly beautiful to behold sitting on the bench.
I still think the subject is centered horizontally, in this case does not take away the beauty of the image.

I really enjoy images like this which really dont need to follow the rules as such(maybe you could have swung the view to the left a little)...nice and peaceful :-)
