I think you have to improve the sky. Try to shoot multiple exposures. One shoot can not give you the needed informations.
it's a lovely image but maybe it looks more like a normal photo? 3 exposures would definitely be better for the sky too
The main subject the green sailboat gets lost in the large amount of negative space (sky and mudflats). A tighter crop should help.
