Just back from a holiday to Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. What a spectacular place. Needless to say, I filled a few memory cards...
This is Isola Pescatore (Fisherman's Island), one of the Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore. I'm not sure what the pink nets are supposed to catch (Pandarino or Maurizio might know?) but they are everywhere.
I was looking over the site this morning and some great pictures have been posted since I left for holiday.

The pink nets are to attract and catch "lady-fish". Excellent shot Karl but you have set a standard of excellence for yourself that is hard to match day-in.. day-out.
