This is one of the corridors at the naval college at Greenwich in London. While I was taking photographs there a security guard engaged me in conversation and informed me that this particular corridor linking the colleges together is haunted by the ghost of Admiral Byng,John Byng who was executed by firing squad in 1757 for failing his duty at the Battle of Minorca apparently holds the door open with invisible hands for students as they pass through. The college is a beautiful place and was designed by Christopher Wren, and built between 1696 and 1712. Taken with the Nikon compact camera.

Good comp.. good hand held point and shoot work. Hard to imagine the Royal Navy allowing the mildew build-up on the stone-work walk. I'm on the way armed with my pressure washer and 40 liters of bleach dilluted 1/2 in water. If I can find my rowboat oars

Fantastic treatment of a very difficult subject. All spot on.
