I found an abandoned beaver dam in the middle of an old swamp on my way home. Looks like the beavers have moved on and left the dam to rot back into the swamp.

Nice find Randy.. assuming coastal low-lands of S.C. from the cypress stand ups. Perhaps a bit more saturation in the tree-line for this nice capture. Long live the beaver. :)

Opps.. I should have down-loaded before comment as things get better. I suspect bright southern sun on that tree-line which accounts for fade at mid-day or afternoon. Add 1 to my scoring.
