The castle is still largely surrounded by water. This castle dates back to medieval times. It was rebuilt in the 16th century and later twice in the 18th century, partly in classical style and around 1910 in a historical style. One of the most famous residents was Charles de Saint-Omer, a unique botanical garden and - collection moored. From the original castle is little left. Only in the basement areas and the front wall base, there are successive layers of stone and brick. After the Second World War the castle was rebuilt. Only the shield in the front and some signs in the mourning hall remind us of the noble residents. (Translation google)
