zoom on in... check out all of the noise in this pic. It's completely un noticeable until you magnify the picture. My point is that noise, or what is called noise can add definition and texture to a shot in ways that may not be conventional, but can also be acceptable if you are open to unique processing styles. I use this often by over sharpening an image, and a few POD's have miraculously made it through. I only want to expand our definition of what HDR can include on this great site, and allow for expression beyond technical perfection to include variations and themes that add an artistic touch that does not fit into the more narrow definition of what we see as excellent HDR. The votes don't really matter, but we'll get an idea as to where our preferences lie. Thanks EVERYONE no matter the vote for your valued opinion! -Randy.

Hmm... I also think not every picture has to be pin sharp and technical clear in every direction. The looking eyes has to be pleased. For this shoot it is not the best solution but this is my own taste. Think it works wonderful on your last car shoots.

I always large at the maximum your photos, because I like seeing that texture use in each.
If the photo is going to be for A giant poster,
as provable
it is bad
but to see on the screen of a PC,
contributes to the aesthetics. As in this case.

First.. excellent subject and comp. I've been thinking about this all morning and won't vote on the intentional noise. At this point I think maybe it's ok on some shots but.. having been outside in nature all my life it appears un-natural to me on the tre

I for one am quite shocked at the fact that so many members gave 9 and 10's on this image. Is there NO Standard for which an HDR is judged anymore. Does this mean from this day forward the MORE NOISE THE BETTER?

Just like photomatix gives many presets, like the grunge look, the ability to oversaturate, or undersaturate, sharpening is just another option. Used well it enhances used poorly, it stinks.
