@johnt - I actually explored a fair bit of this scene and took many shots. I have a few that have the depth and perspective you're probably thinking about. From this particular angle though I've got as much track in the shot as was possible without com

@flipd1 - your comments made me wonder about monitor calibrations. I've just set up one (of two) of mine and to be honest the shadows etc look perfect to me on that monitor with just the right amount of detail poking through. My workplace has a SPYDER ht

Wasn't saying that more rail was needed.. I'm simply a railroad freak and personally would love to see more but the walk-way conflicts the shooting point to get it. I like the dark mood which conveys waiting all day and the coming of dark signals the wait

Looked at it on 2 monitors by different manufactures and that left side is just to black. Sorry. The image is fabulous.
