The trees are to dark and the sky is blown since the sun isnt shining directly into the camera

Thanks guys for checking out the shot. Can't agree with the "too dark" comment though ohansmit. Sorry. Looks good on my screen, Also, absolute black and white is acceptable in an image IMHO. I think we can get too obsessed sometimes with the idea that eve

...every detail must be seen in every shadow. Black helps the colours 'pop'

A wonderful moody image, with great composition (patterns and lines) and fantastic processing. I like the painterly feel to it and agree that Black detail less shadows are OK.
