I am posting this picture today to pay tribute to this horse. This is King. The girl on him is Lexy.
King was one of the best horses anyone could know. After a battle with collic the owner had to put him to sleep last night. We are saddened with them and for them. Lexy and this horse were best buddies. She rode him in many rodeo events and won many events with him. They were inseparable.
King will be missed.
Some of you will recognize the girl in this picture because my daughter - Nicolle (another creme member) has posted a few pictures of her before. She has not done much with photography since she has started doing rodeo herself. So that job is up to me.
Anyway, King just like any other animal was like another family member. Lexy as well as our family are mourning today.

Thanks everyone for you comments. Means a lot. Even though it wasn't my horse my heart goes out to the owners and more importantly our friends. They are a big part of our lives.

Sad story Phil but just to change the subject slightly,I hope you are getting your daughter to wear head protection while she does this as I notice Lexy is not.Just a concern,but I am pretty sure you have seen to this.Nice shot BTW :-)
