Superb compo and textures on red leaves. Some very dark areas in the bloom and DOF at some points very harsh. May use a different light for shooting.

I view that as more of a piece of art. I like the over all effect you have here. Yes dark areas and a some light. Great shot for me
I like the velvety petal. The dark areas not bother me if they were pure. Here is a milky hue.
