This is the inner garden in the cloisters at chester cathedral. Chester cathedral is in parts just over 1000 years old, and there was probably a Basillica on there from the time of the roman occupation of England, which would make it a religious site of nearly 2000 years. This image is one of the first I have taken using my newest compact camera the Nikon p7100. This is a modern sculpture entitled The water of life by Stephen Broadbent.
