The Bridgewater monument or locally known as the Ashridge monument was built in 1832 for the Duke of Bridgewater, it is 108 feet (33 m) tall and has 170 steps inside. It is situated at Ashridge common and overlooks the village of Aldbury, Ashridge common has been used as a film location for many movies such as "Sleepy Hollow" and Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire. I shot this on a fine autumn morning, conditions were perfect and I was lucky enough to capture this when no people were around.
