That mountain seen in the distance is the "Isabel de Torres" is about 799 meters above the sea level and at the foot of this is the city of Puerto Plata. There is located the only cable car of the Caribbean Area.
This view of it is not well known because it is the view from the back of the mountain that is not visible from the city of Puerto Plata, so not many know it from this view.
This shot was taken about 24 km away from it and this is not the main road, this one is often used by hikers, mountain bikers and enduro racers.

I missed seeing this as I was obviously on the wrong side of the mountain. The view makes me want to return for a visit.
