The Day of the Dead tradition is considered the most significant and representative of Mexican culture. The celebration takes place on two days: the first of November is dedicated to the souls of children and November 2 to adult. The origin of the Day of the Dead has a history related to miscegenation. Includes indigenous and Spanish cultural traits that led to mixed all the rites and ceremonies that are performed for the occasion. Although the Anglo Saxon Halloween celebration has become popular among the population, in most Mexican households tradition endures and placed offerings with very specific elements.
