Table Mountain under Königstein once belonged in ancient times to the Czech Kingdom, now you have to go a bit beyond the Czech borders, to our German neighbors. The fortress Königstein head to Saxon Switzerland, approximately fifteen kilometers from the border. Mountain fortress Königstein lies well above named villages on the left bank of the river Elbe. The historic building was opened to the public in 1955.
