I occasionally stay at a friend's house (dog-sitting) and there is something about the light in their room, and the materials & textures, which always seems to help produce good HDR shots. I didn't want particularly to appear in this picture, but I just thought the table needed someone sat at it and I'd just given Heidi Klum the day off, so I was all there was.

OK, this is going to be posting of contradictions. This is most likely the POTD just because of the 99% perfection of the process. For me it's a 9 because I think your face doesn't have a natural color tone. Maybe to dark IMHO. Give Heidi my best. :)

Phil, that’s very insensitive of you; for all you know I might have a very rare form of a hideous skin disease. I haven’t, but Heidi isn’t replying 2U because her next door neighbour’s 2nd cousin’s cat has a very rare form of a hideous skin disease.

Thanks Ruhri. It’s shot on top of a Manfrotto 055xprob with the centre column fully extended (6’ 6”), and on delay exposure which I’ve recently discovered will take 3 brackets. I have a cheap wireless remote but that only seems to take single exposures.
