Another Long Range Capture from between 50-60yards off at Full 300mm Focus then Heavily Cropped.
Egret not as White as possible due to shade and shadows on bird. The Long wispy feathers are called Aigrettes which only appear on the Egret during mating season and is spread out at times to attract a Nesting Mate. The ends of the aigrettes are a pale brown on some. The Green Mask from Eye to Beak only appears during mating season also. White on Tip of Beak caused from Preening itself.
