Isn't monochrome imagery Low Dynamic Range?

I believe "HDR" refers to the maxium amount of stops available in one image. In other words the greatest "dynamic" range between an almost pure white point and an almost pure black point, almost being the operative word, white/highlights with detail and

Really nice shot. Play around with the saturation and highlights levels and your halo's may go away. Or u can "paint" them out if you're good in Photoshop!

Camera club reference re mono being a LDR. In photomatix I can reduce the flaring being using the highlight smoothing slider, I am not sure how this works in you program though. This is only a minor tweak to a good to an already great photo.
