Athlon, i'm not sure what you mean by 'machine' but i use Photomatix pro 3.1 and my camera is a mere Pentax K200. This was a hand held 3 shot HDR image. The more i see this picture the worse the halo seems to get.

The halo effect is something you have to live with in HDR, you ether love it or hate it. I think this is one of the best shots on this site. Long live hand held!

I think, that halos are not a (serious) issue here. It just misses some sharpness, due to handheld shots. Besides that, it is an excellent shot.
