This shot is a timed self portrait with friends at one of my favourite watering holes in Ottawa, Canada. I placed my camera on the waitress's serving cabinet at the entrance to this patio bar, having supported it with whatever I could find (towel and note pads), then went back to my seat. I asked those around me to look into the camera and be as still as possible. I tried this for several shots and this one was the best. As a single shot this I think turned out OK! The colours, I think came out in the restaurant pretty we'll..nice and bold. This area of Ottawa is called the Byward Market area and there are many patio bars and restaurants about, a wonderful mix of cultures abound.

It's good to share a drink with friends, very well expressed the sense of camaraderie, correct process in skin tones, always difficult in HDR.

@billyspad and jphoto - I see what you are saying about mafia bosses but with Dirty Harry there I am sure he will just pull out his 44 Magnum and get the job done easier. hahah Great scene John
