I took this shot in Ottawa, Canada a few years back and have now only processed it. I have put it through the B&W process in Photomatix Pro and made some final adjustments in Photoshop. What really interested me was the beautiful mouldings on the side of this old building, beautifully crafted work and thought the B&W process would make it stand out more. The original shot in colour was too bright in colour, some realy bright colours which I think did not do justice to this fine building. I have left some noise and added a slight grain to the overall image as well as a bit of dodge and burn which I think gives it more character. THANKS FOR VIEWING.

Nice process. Check out the NIK filter set- they are cheap and there are a ton of bw presets to start with that you would enjoy.

The process is very good, personally I do not like inclinations, according to the halo over the building.
