The green on the wood is due to weathering.

NIce one Phil! . Probably you went too fat with the "green" IMO. I know those dock posts. they are not as green, even treated..

Sky is a Bit to Vivid in color boarding on Surreal for me Phil. As for the Pilings those are treated with a Green Preservative to keep them from rotting faster. Black Cresote Pilings were banned nationwide several years ago. The Green is in now.
