Ok Its one of those I would ask "why HDR". Broad daylight with no dark or light areas so a normal photo will reveal what is shown here. HDR cos you can not cos it will reveal further detail. A big fat 10 for you

Correct process, the small strip of sky does not contribute anything, as suggested cuts would give more emphasis to the watercraft.
