This shield it acquired the father of my wife many years ago and is on the fireplace of our beach house.
I always call my attention to being the UK shield the sentences are in French.
The Sentence that clearly reads "DIEU ET MON DROIT"also in old French, (Dios y mi derecho), (God and my right)
