Every Morning i get up and head to work around when the Sun is comming up, i get to see this almost every morning.

Stunning photo... worth getting up for work

Wow! I LOVE this shot!! Great work! And, no fair - it's always still dark out when I get to work!

29 Jun 00:00

Wow that looks so cool, i would so get up early each morning to see that. Great job look forward to seeing more from you.

29 Jun 00:00

very nice shot...but more art than an actual HDR photo imo. An HDR photo should look like a REAL window into that particular scene. The clouds are very unnatural. Not to say it is a bad shot or doesn't look cool. Just over done with the effects.

29 Jun 00:00

You don't "see" this every morning, unless it's your job to sit at a computer monitor and horrifically edit every photo you take. What you see is a dramatically less exciting version of this, that you photographed, blended, and photoshopped the living bej

This is pretty horrible. Those clouds look terrible- i've never seen clouds like that in my life. HD can be impressive, but not when the only reason it looks good is because someone tore it apart in photoshop...post the original.

Where is this? I'm dying to know. Who needs to live in places like California and Hawaii to find beauty? It seems to me that you've got your own piece of undiscovered paradise right here.

A terrific example of how NOT to use HDR.

ummm....PHOTOSHOP!

The problem with HDR'ing digital photos is that it's so over-done---they no longer look real.

All you "photoshopped!" and negative nellys out there should spend a little more time getting outdoors instead of holed up behind your goddamn monitors. I have personally seen skies like this in the morning several times, and even if this person did do a

I agree with your comments notnegative. This is a "nice" image. But I have noticed that is has gathered almost 300 votes in less than 3 days. Could it be that someone's doing a little padding? I think so.

29 Jun 00:00

As a photo this looks ridiculous. It looks completely like a computer generated image!!

29 Jun 00:00

Nice dawn; but the photo has been messed with, colours enhanced, which I don't like. I see a similar dawn in Alberta. You wouldn't have black clouds - I think that the natural world should be captured in a photograph, not coloured in with crayons.

29 Jun 00:00

Incredible beautiful.

love the colors stunning.....

My dad does the same horrible thing to pictures he takes. I wish I could revoke his photoshop rights.

29 Jun 00:00

I liked the photo before I read the caption. So you trip on acid every time you step outside before work? This is overly photoshoped, and it does look cool, but don't make it sound like this is how the sky REALLY looked, and that you live in some magica

Everyone is complaining those clouds aren't real. We actually get clouds like that around here where I am from too(washington). We had them recently during sunset and had a large red sky. it was beautiful

A wonderful image..

I didnt bother reading all of the other comments but I hope that everyone noticed that this is a photo of a sunrise where the sun is supposed to be below the clouds.... creating the reddish coloring in the sky. However the bottom of the clouds are dark wh

This is so FAKE. Why do people who use so much HDR and Photoshop always like to make claims about the beauty of Nature? FAKE FAKE FAKE

You do know your on an HDR website right. High Dynamic Range imaging (HDRI or just HDR) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. I think the Pi

Yesterday, I made comment on this "nice" image, as the voter count was approaching 300. It is now closing in on 500. And this is the only image on the entire site with that kind of "amazing" appeal. Check it out, if you don't think so. It was posted 4 day

I have seen sunrises like that, but each time I forget to take a picture, and when I return to get the camera, the sky returns to normal....And I still have to go to school. :(

29 Jun 00:00

Well, I like it, Photoshopped or not. It's certainly as real as any of the whining "oooh, it's been photoshopped" brigade.

29 Jun 00:00

a green lawn always adds nicely to the effect. thumbs up from a stumbler.

29 Jun 00:00

Well, I don't care how tweaked it's been, I think it's brilliant. We get clouds like that in this part of England too

29 Jun 00:00

The contrast and saturation should be bumped down a some, looks a little too unrealistic.

estanus, I strongly disagree. This is NOT HDR at it's best. Look at the "Original" view of the image. You'll immediately see a large amount of grain in the sky. This is a result of over processing, and/or a poor quality shot to begin with. Stuffing the vo

Very unnatural. HDR should be used to make parts that would otherwise be over- or underexposed visible.

29 Jun 00:00

Its not the Photographer's Fault that someone posted this picture with stumbleupon. That this is the first pic everyone see's before they understand what HDR is. HDR is in the Eye of the Beholder, and Eric see's this and likes it. That should be enough

29 Jun 00:00

Jenna if you think it's not the photographer's fault for the photo not being posted on Stumble, then who else would have access to his shot? Personally I think the BS is getting kind of deep around here. BWTFDIK?
