if you crop the right part of the photo you'll see that the path in the middle doesnt look so bad

And lose that winderful sky?? Don't think so. There are other shots in the 'Boardwalk' series with the path centralised, i felt this shot lent itself to the path being off centre.

I like this photo as it is currently cropped. I agree with the first and third comments. Great angles in the photo; the "hidden" shadows are also quite nice and the sky is fantastic.
