Taken at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town on Sunday. The Chavonnes battery was a fortification protecting Cape Town, South Africa. Built in the early 18th century, it has served many purposes but is now a museum. If you are interested in a little history of this fortification, you may look it up on Wikipedia. Thanks for viewing. perfectly processed, but I can't help but wonder why you shot from this angle rather than one without the modern buildings in the background? Is sea on the other angle?

Nice process. The angle doesn't really bother me. Could be there was a space restriction.

I agree with your comments Randall and Phil. Unfortunately had I gone to the other end there is no space due to a drop in this gun platform. The area where these guns are placed is railed in. However I maybe should have gone into the museum. Thanks for yo
