the church "notre dame du travail" was built for the many workers staying in the 14th district, which were responsible for mounting the Universal Exhibitions in Paris early last century, it pays tribute to the working conditions and the meaning the word "Labour" .it is remarkable by the use of an innovative metal frame and a frame in apparentes beams. Its steeple was reduced from Sebastopol after the capture of the city (1855) during the Crimean War.
