God Created RUST for HDR.....Beautiful Image.

Thanks Ed, I think we're both addicted to rust! Lately I have been doing HDR's a little different. I stop the Photomatix at the 32 bit radiance file and just process it in camera raw. Get it close in the first panel, go to brushes in the raw brush panel,, refine then move it into Photoshop to touch up in layers or with any plugins like Nik or Topaz. Usually when you are done or want to re-enter it in raw it will have to be converted to a 16 bit image in mode then hit the exposure gamma drop box tab. You will also unlock the rest of the tools in Photoshop that way. ( note: resize in image to your 300 ppi and the native pixel dimension. It will show as a 72 ppi but when converted will be the same as the 300 ppi. Try it some time. Tremendous control. I sometimes will layer the best of both a blending in layers with opacity brushes.

I wonder how the site selects the POTD. Certainly it's not based on the number of likes and views.
