Notes It's Spring here, and yesterday I visited Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens at Betty's Bay. I again took out and attempted to get to grips with this tricky lens. The image was conventionally processed fist and then tone-mapped in Photomatix. I don't normally do this with my macro shots, but I thought I'd give it a try.
Her pollen sacks full, this bee takes a final long drink of nectar before returning to the hive.
