One of the "Mittens" of Monument Valley. The broad band of what appears to be a yellow rainbow is actually an anticrepuscuiar ray. When the atmospheric conditions are right the rays of the setting sun to the west ( in this case, behind my back ) appear to arise from behind the mitten on the horizon in the east. This was the first time I ever saw them.
