The silky water look is one of the great things about Photomatix. The various exposures will either capture a nicer flowing time exposure that you could select out with the deghosting tool in the program or the combination of the exposures will create that flowing look. If its a single shot you'd need at least a six stop ND filter. Sometimes they are a pain.
