Beautiful bike, and a better shot than mine as well Ed. Not had an e mail from carlo, but what is needed is the old guard back, and personally I would have more than one section for images. I have been making a point with the mobile shots as you are probably aware. To gain more members whats needed is a section for HDR mobile shots, keeping also another section for other morecserious cameras, this would appeal to a broader range of people who would then hopefully take a more serious approach when they see other shots.

If it was posssible I would also have a theme shot once a week, such as landscape, or portrait. I would also revert completely to the original site, this one doesnt work, even though there were numerous complaints about the old site its no coincidence that membership dropped when that site went, I would also appoint at least one moderator to police the site, my vote would be for you to do that role.

One final thing, I would make all voting anonymous.

Thanks Ron for vote of encouragement....Much Appreciated. Well he sent me an email asking how to improve the site and get old members back and new ones to join. I gave him all of the suggestions you mentioned here plus others. Especially the anonymous voting one. Different categories for sure. Told him I would be more than happy to help judge images if he wanted to do away with voting all together. I would cease to posting any images at all to be fair in judging. Say for instance instead of POTD make it an Editors Choice Category, ending with a POTWeek and POTMonth of Editors Choice.
