Not sure what preset you used in Photomatix.? Did you use Tonemapping or Exposure Fusion on this post? Viewing larger version shows the processing has caused multiple Halo lines in the sky. Like the subject matter (composition) very much.

@amshot , to be able to use HDR Switch (before/after) you must be a PLUS MEMBER. Look at the Top of the page and you will see PLUS listed between DISCOVER and UPLOAD. @amshot , Those Halo's more times than not are usually caused by setting the Strength Level too high when processing. Also referred to as Over Processing. Hope this helps.
@amshot Your Processing of the image "Falmouth'' is a great example of how HDR images should be Processed and Look.
