I went back last night for a second take. This time with a tripod so I could shoot multiple exposure. The sky was less interesting but the air was much less polluted as it rained few hours before. I had fun this time with Photomatix and Photoshop merging 3 different layers and finally straightened and cropped to a 16:9 format with Lightroom.

@franklamica thank you! Looking forward to the weekend. Unfortunately the weather is not great.

Love the SWITCH BUTTON. Best new feature of the site IMHO. The Contrast is literally Night and Day. I prefer the Sunset sky from your First Post but the Multiple Exposures have really opened up the dark areas as shows more detail. Wider view as well. Favorite.

@digicam thank you Ed. You are right. I could see plenty of details this time in the dark areas. Maybe will attempt with a prime lens next time or sunrise..

I noticed the level of the river was several feet lower in this shot as well. How much can that river fall on a low tide?

@digicam quite a lot. I believe 5/6 meters but it depends on the area. There was an art installation last year that was only visible with low tide. Quite fascinating actually. Google "The Rising Tide by Jason deCaires Taylor".
