Photographers paradise in Old Car City in White, Georgia. An abandoned junk yard started in 1932 with 4200 cars scattered thruout 32 acres, resurrected by the late 80-something son of the original owner. A former junkyard but now, the only thing that is for sale is the ability to take as many pictures in a day for $25. I've been there seven times and still haven't covered the place. If you "lust for rust", a must on your bucket list!!

Just shows how different people see things differently. Like and Dislikes.
For me it's Perfect. It POPS when viewed on FULL SCREEN as compared to the NON or the Original..... The pitting, rust and patina scream HDR .

@digicam thanks Ed, thereās no question I gave a boost to the patina but thatās the beauty of rust. But the critique is ok. Thatās just individual preference. You and I gave a good appreciation for the ādark sideā of hdr where rust reigns!!

Haha!
Nice to hear some comments from you guys .
Seems that I have an other opinion about HDR look ?
For me it is important that people talk about pictures without to be too aggressive
I know from what Iām talking because I am founder of our photo club in my village
..... and it is soooo difficult to accept other meanings
Th ic of the car is nice I just would have done to this differently
By the way in Germany there is a kind of cemetery of old American cars on a private property looks exactly like this

Good job. I like the composition.
@philta22: I think I have been on the german place where you have been talking about.
All the cars there are manufactured in 1950. This one is much older :-)

@philta22 , Good to see that some members here understand that different people have different outlooks and opinions and can agree to disagree. After all we are talking about Photographs here not life changing situations. One must accept the fact that when you post an image on a site such as this you are opening yourself up to Comments which can be Good, Bad and anything in between. Accept them for what they are. But don't get upset if someone does not understand your comment or ask you to explain more about your comment. It is also unacceptable for Name Calling and saying other members are Narrow Minded because they do not agree with your opinion. If you are an Adult then act like one. Show respect to others and you will receive respect in return.

@philta22 I know what you mean about camera clubs. Iāve had the same experience. People donāt like to be critiqued. For myself, I always like to know how others perceive what I do. As you know, when we spend a lot of time on our own images, we can fall in love with the image and be blinded to the faults. Usually for most of my HDR I try to be as realistic as I can. But when thereās rust, my brain defaults to the ādark sideā and I emphasize that. The dreaded HDR CURSE!!?
