Five shot night HDR of the historic Lemont clock tower

Beautiful Capture....../

Nice processing but I would cut off the white pixels which are remaining on the left hand side. Caused by the usual streching, rotating procedure? (-:

@paul_daylight thanks Paul

@axel_hahn I’m not sure what pixels you’re talking about. If you’re talking about the flares on the left side of the post I can see what you’re saying. There was a light behind the post that I cut out. The flare was left on the post and admittedly, looks sloppy. I like the composition and intend to do this one over again. This rendering was done late last night. The time on the clock was the time I took the pic last night. I tried to process it and post it and probably should have not posted it til it was done right. Another area I didn’t like was to the right of the post where the lower part of the church was brightly lit. A big distraction along with a couple of streaks of red from a car that drove through the back of the shot. It took me a long time to get the brackets because of the length of the exposure. I should have pushed the iso up to get it done more quickly. Let me know if the above described were the pixels you were talking about. Thanks for pointing it out. Keeps me on my toes !!

Whoa! I thought I was Knit Picky......LOL. Beautiful nonetheless and beautifully processed Steve. Now get some sleep tonight!

Steve, Agree with Ed!!

Re-work as you promised and make a tad less warm on the White Balance then Re-post.

24 Jul 23:46

@digicam I will do that. I may go back and reposition my shooting point. I processed one a few days before with the same composition but different distances from the clock producing differences in impact points. Check your email for them. Shots were too warm agreed. Halogen lighting which sometimes is hard to adjust for.

greay pic!!!!!

@steve_zasadny: No that was not what I have been talking about. The processing is good. Do not worry about that. I meant the pixels at the upper left edge of the image and on the left side on the threes. Best viewed when the image is opened directly in the browser. Some browsers are using a white background and in this case you will not see it. I can see it in Firefox and Chrome as well.

@axel_hahn Yes, I see it. I had a border on this and trimmed it off before posting as required. May have left a small edge.
