Athabasca Falls in Jasper. This monochrome was a conversion from a previous post rendered in color. I used four different layers and addressed different color combinations and regulated their contrasts by adjusting luminosity. An additional layer was created and mid range contrast was amped up to create greater texture in the flowing water. All the layers were then blended using masks and low opacity brushes until a reasonable balance was achieved.

@digicam Thanks Ed, I always try to do mono conversions. Sometimes they work and other times they don’t. This one I think looks good either way.
