Jökulsárlón at the Vatnajökull(Vatna Glacier), Southern Iceland. Vatnajökull is the largest and most voluminous Icelandic glacier and the largest ice cap in Europe by volume. It has a total volume of more than 3,100 km³. It is covering more than 8 percent of the country. (8,100 km²) These colours are real. This is the most beautiful place on earth I have ever seen. You can see and hear large blocks of ice breaking down into the water(icefall) and see them floating out into the open sea while they are melting.

Beautiful Ice and Landscape. Processing may be a bit over processed making the Ice look dirty in some spots. That is one of the pit fallls of trying to HDR process Ice or Snow. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for your comments. @digicam: some of the icebergs are several thousand years old. The dirt on the ice is dust from vulcanic eruptions which happend hundreds of years ago. So from my point of view - it is not just looking dirty by processing, it is really full of dirt on some spots.
