This was another highlight of my trip to California. The reflections and the colours of the lake at sunset where just breathtaking. Curious fact: If you like Pink Floyd you can find an image of the Mono Lake in the album Wish you where here.

The Sunlit Hill Tops in far background make this one POP. Must be viewed on Full Screen Mode to Appreciate. Like the bird in foreground gives a great perspective as to size of the rock formations in the water. There seems to be a Rope or unexplained Line just right of center atop foreground rock formation. I would have removed it. Thanks for sharing.

Just on comment : I would put ther ock formation in the middle of the image, not 1/3
(vertical Position)
