Good title. Image seems to still have a lot of noise, mainly left side. Thanks for posting.

@digicam Thank you Ed. Yes, it's a noisy image from start, I got the noise revealed straight after processing in Photomatix. Tried redused it in Topaz AI Clean.

I’m on a cell phone so I can’t see noise ( or my cellphone for that matter) too well. But this sort of thing is a favorite of mine. In general though, when you took the picture use the rule of thirds and place the center of the crane one third in from the left. The boom will point to the negative space as well as the tracks. Placing the machine that way will allow for a place for the machine and your eyes to go to thus creating a dynamic tension. I will guarantee that the viewer will spend more eyeball time on this image if you do so. Even though you didn’t get that placement in this one, it can easily be created with some simple gymnastics in photoshop. If you’re not sure I can message you how to do it. Still I like the subject matter. Did you work this spot for a while and get several different views of it. I have a tractor down the street from me and I’m waiting for a decent snow to fall and get some shots of it. I’ll probably get every angle and high and low. Nice shot though!!

@steve_zasadny Thank you Steve for your detailed comment and tips! I 've just send you a mail. As for the tractor, it was a quickie shooting due to freezing cold. I took picture from only two spots. The second one turned out blurry.

@dmitry just got your email and sent a reply with a couple of modifications. As far as the cold?? Unless it’s fifty below zero, I would have expected about 2-300 images and an hour crawling through the snow trying to find the “money shot”. ??
