  • Notes I liked the light play in this scene. I don't think HDR has to be evenly or brightly lit across the whole image.

Dining table set for a group at Muratie, a wine estate that dates to 1685 and located near Stellenbosch in the Western Cape of South Africa. The passage on the left leads past the fermentation vessels; the port to one of these is visible.

While I agree with your statement about NOT everything has to be even or brightly lit for it to be a Good or Great HDR I do wish You and more members would take advantage of the HDR Switch to show Processed as compared to Non to get a better sense of what you were working with. If you do not wish to pay the small yearly fee to become a PLUS Member you can message Carlo and ask for a Free (MONTH) Trial of the SWITCH. Just a suggestion. Thanks for posting, it is a very clean image.

Hello Guy. Many thanks for the kind words. I was trying for an old-masters kind of lighting. I sense there is a debate about what HDR is, and I think there is room for all variants. I try to vary my own work a fair bit.
