This is a shot of the English village of Castle Combe taken a few years ago, but recently I have had time to revisit a few of my photographs and give them my 'Day-to-Night- effect. This involves taking a picture in the middle of the day and then post-processing them using lightroom and photoshop to get a specific effect. I hope you like it :-)

Welcome to the Creme Jamie. The HDR switch is meant to be used to show the 0 Exposure Value Image from either a 3,5,7 or 9 Exposure HDR image before processing. The technique you have posted here is very interesting but not quite what the site is about. To get a better Idea of what we strive to produce here on the Creme can be seen in the galleries presented by members such as..... fredzhang, steve zasadny, pixel commando and kitfox among others. Check out FAQ for more details about the site. Thanks for joining, sharing and look forward to more of your work.

@digicam thank you for the information, that is a shame, as you are the only site I have found that allows for a before and after comparison to display my work. I am fully aware of the HDR process, I have just developed the HDR process further to achieve a very different look which I like. Let me know if I can stay or not. Thank you for the feedback.

@jamie_r_mathlin , For sure you can be a member. It is NOT written in stone that you cannot post what you did today. I only wanted you to understand what the site is about. Jim (kitfox) asked me earlier to check out your work on 500PX and yes you do have a few very nice HDR captures posted there. Some I seen had a lot of ghosting of people however and those types of images do not do well in scoring for POTD (Pic of the Day) but are welcome just the same.. As I stated before, Welcome to the Creme and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Keep posting.
