This is my first experiment of focus stacking 2 HDR processing - 6 images in total. First bracketing focusing on the waterfall and second bracketing focusing on the big stone.

Looks as though you handled it well for a first attempt Carlo. Funny name for a Falls. Thanks for sharing.

Ciao Carlo. Nice capture! Have you compared the result with a normal HDR using an aperature larger than 14? I think there will be no difference in this case :-)

@axel_hahn hey Axel. With this kind of long exposure i believe there is no visible difference.

I think that the idea to go new ways is important here. Certainly using an ultra wide angle lens (20mm) with a high aperture would have the same results...but experimenting with focus is great!! my favorite!

I did my last focus stacking experiments with a macro lens because the reached depth of field did not satisfy me at all. And then I realised that macro photograpy is not my cup of tea :) (Not because of the processing... you have to become an expert in hunting insects and butterflies)
