Lupine are one of the first major spring flowers in the mountains. This is a very large field of them at sunset. The elevation is about 9000 ft, so spring here is a bit later than at lower elevations.

Thanks. This was a fun revisit to photos taken with a 12mp Nikon D300. I always liked the photos, so reprocessing with a better tools is fun.

@javh , Yes James, better tools today have improved even the old captures. I too have a an old Nikon D300. Now shoot with a Nikon D800. 3x the Megapixels of the D300. Had to get a BIGGER Computer just to handle the RAW files. .....LOL.
