There are things I really like about the image Steve and a few I do not. Being able to see every detail from foreground to background is a Plus for me and an HDR effect one looks for and expects in most images. Perhaps or Maybe you are posting too large of images. 99% of images posted on this site look BEST when viewed in Full Screen Mode. This one is not the case for me. It seems over sharpened and slightly over saturated. Also when viewing the Zoom I see Noise in certain areas of the sky. I know you are a man of Many Layers, but sometimes less is more. Thanks for sharing.

@digicam I have to agree with your critique of this one. This was a rough image to pull off. The canyon was incredibly hazy and I had to do a lot of dehazing with layers in PS. That sometimes produces a lot of noise. I merged three sets of five images to get the sky to fill out and, as you say, less can be more. It does look different on my screen though. I loaded it at 2400 pixels across and for some reason it has a gritty appearance. The only sharpening I did was the Ai sharpen and auto set it. Iā€™m not sure why it has that gritty appearance. I probably should talk to Carlo and see if there is an ideal to upload.
