This image was derived from a five shot bracketed series taken in 2015. The time was about 2 hrs after sunset with available light being what was reflected from the shoreline. It was the ultimate blue hour and the original images were a very saturated blue. The images were merged in Photomatix Pro using the contrast optimizer mode but with little compression. The sky was solid blue and flat. I imported a sky taken a couple of hours earlier that had clouds and was brighter. The ice had the blues desaturated and it was brightened to match the sky tone. This was more an artistic interpretation rather than the out of the camera presentation

Great work again. I personally prefer your versions with the red/orange sky :-)

@axel_hahn Thanks Axel, You are probably referring to another I posted previously. If it had the red orange sky and the more clear ice it was taken a couple of years before this one. The icing conditions only occur every few years. Probably only 3-4 times in the last 11 years. I am always checking though!!
