In my country in October, there is a weekend dedicated to heritage, which is open to the public many sites that are closed during the year. This photo was taken in that circumstance; imagine, many people, wait a year to return if after seeing her photo in the pc was not very good, but the subject and the picture as a whole has potential. In this case is the cabin presidency train early twentieth century. Imagine also put together the tripod on a railway corridor, with people waiting to get in, a ribbon that says "forbidden to pass " and the delay did 9 shots (although some are discarded after) The result of this is this photograph, with a large number of defects, but in my opinion with potential. Never has happened to sometimes taking a photo and say to yourself "This is the picture" but to see it on the PC carry a disappointment? All is not lost, sometimes with work, work and more work can be recovered. The photo show here, is after Photomatix, which improved the dynamic range, but no defects. In PM 5 beta after preprocessing (with deghosting included) the result is saved as *. Hdr and make two mappings, first "Contrast Optimizer" is more natural, saved as *. TIF, then I reopen in file *. hdr and mapping "Details Enhancer" gives a touch more HDR saved as *. TIF with another name and already I have two raw materials for PS. In Photoshop: 1. I open the two images in PS using camera raw to remove C / A, in one of the images duplicate layer and in "destination" selected the other photo. Then play with the opacity to find the best balance, finally flatten image. 2. I make two copies of the background layer and work on the above. 3. With the tools of "Perspective crop tool", "Crop Tool" and "Edition / Transform / Distort" fix the lens distortions. 4. Every step I take, hidden background and merge visible and I return to copy corrected layer. 5. I read that it's best to remove the noise at first, I use Topaz Denoise. 6. I keep some secret with Nik Software Filters. 7. With "Clone stamp tool" and "Patch Tool" fix ghosts and posterized (the most laborious). 8. With Viveza filter from Nik Software, using "control points", remove bluish and reddish, playing with desaturation, tones and light. 9. In Image / Mode / Lab Color, change the layer mode to (I have to choose "Do not Flatten") and I stand in Channels and select only "Lightness", at this point with the tools "Dodge Tool" and "Burn Tool" in the ranks "Shadows", "Midtones" and "Highlights" work some shades and lights to give volume. So back to "RGB Color" ("Do not Flatten"). 10 Let us remember we have the background layer and two equal layers with all the improvements, if necessary improved sharpness with "Filter / Other / High Pass .." (depending on the quality of the image will be selecting "Radius". We still all gray layer, which we changed the Blending mode(I choose "Soft Light") if we have very sharp, lower the opacity percentage. 11. Finally Flatten Image and We have a photo I post below. I apologize for the translation and syntax.
